Volunteers are needed for the Freedom Bus Ministry and there are a couple of different avenues for becoming involved.

Volunteer As An Individual!

Individual women can work with one of our partner congregations as we can always use a few more helpers when we meet the prison van. Simply contact us and let us know you are interested and we will get back to you.

Ask your church to become a partner congregation!

This means your congregation would take responsibility for meeting the prison van one day a week or one day every other week. Your group of volunteers would train with an existing partner congregation, after which, your group would work semi-independently on your designated day. Partner congregations take financial responsibility for providing lunches on the days they work and also collect donations of totes, toiletries, winter coats, and other essentials necessary to the ministry. If you would like to have representatives from a partner congregation visit your church group to give a presentation on this ministry, simply contact us and we will get back to you.
